The finale of the flat racing calendar takes place 16 October with the British Champions Day being held at Ascot.
Many familiar faces will be making an appearance as they bid to race for glory and help their riders, including the current leader and reigning champion Oisin Murphy, in their quest for the Flat Jockeys Championship.
Murphy currently leads the way on 145 wins, just 9 away from William Buick however they're both well clear of third place, Tom Marquand, who has secured 111 wins respectively.
The riders and Ascot Racecourse will be excited to welcome back spectators after last year's race was impacted heavily by the restrictions inflicted by COVID-19.
One rider who was successful last year, Marquand, will be especially happy to see spectators again as he has an opportunity to showcase his ability with his favorite horse Addeybb.
Murphy has all but won the Flat Jockey Championship, home however if second-placed Buick can leave himself with a chance on the last weekend of the season, it could be as dramatic a weekend as you can get!
There's a total of six races on Champions Day:
1:25pm: Long Distance Cup (Class 1) 1m7f, Group 2
2:00pm: British Champions Sprint Stakes (Class 1) 6f, Group 1
2:35pm: QIPCO British Champions Fillies & Mare Stakes (Class 1) 1m3f, Group 1
3:10pm: Queen Elizabeth II Stakes (Class 1) 1m, Group 1
3:50pm: QIPCO Champion Stakes (Class 1) 1m1f, Group 1
4:30pm: Balmoral Handicap (Class 2) 1m
Long Distance Cup 1:25pm – Pick Stradivarius at 7.00 with bet365
The first race of the day sees fan favourite jockey Frankie Dettori riding the absolute beast Stradivarius.
Dettori led the 7 year-old to victory by a narrow margin over Spanish Mission however the reduced 2m distance could be an advantage and the horse will be keen to put on a show.
Queen Elizabeth II Stakes 3:10pm – Pick Palace Pier at 3.25 with bet365
A race in which legendary horses have run here but the most notable, by far, goes by the name of Frankel.
Palace Pier is the favourite in this one, with Baaeed expected to be the closest as they're both of good weight and have put in good performances of late to ensure they come into this in good form.
One to keep an eye on for an each way bet is Lady Bowthorpe, who had some success in July at Goodwood by winning the Qatar Nassau Stakes (1m2f) - this is available at 14/1 with bet365.
Champion Stakes 3:50pm – Pick Addeybb at 4.50 with bet365
Last year's winner Addeybb remains one of the top runners however faces stiff competition from bookies favourite, Mishriff.
With this race being so open with a handful of runners in contention, this could be one of the closest races of the day.
